Lupin Splits are similar in use to your regular split pea, only they are not regular – they have twice the protein content at 40% and around 6% of the carbs when compared to your regular split peas – not bad eh!! As one of the world’s richest source of combined protein and fibre, this Aussie-grown little legume is GM free, gluten free, low GI, great for keto diets and only 4% carbs. Plus they’re rich in calcium, potassium, magnesium and iron and great for Soups, Casseroles, Stew, even Fermenting as Tempeh. Lupin incredible!
